AUB hosts the launch of The Cultural Enquiry 2019
The Cultural Enquiry for Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole aims to shape a new creative future by looking at the role culture plays in people’s lives and exploring the opportunity for a long-term cultural vision for all our communities.

An exciting opportunity has been arranged for final year students from BA (Hons) Photography at Arts University Bournemouth, as they exhibit at the Seventeen Gallery in London. The exhibition is intended to reveal their thought processes, working practices, influences and milieu; literally, their work-in-progress.
What Is Art? Is an original performance piece curated and directed by recent Arts University Bournemouth BA (Hons) Acting graduate, Kieran Luxton.
The performance featured as a part of the Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize 2018 exhibition at TheGallery and was also performed in the CRAB studios on 17th January 2019.
The range and prominence of the careers of BA (Hons) Creative Events Management graduates were recently celebrated as part of the course’s 25th birthday year.

AUB & BU Music Presents: A Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols
Our traditional Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols, with University Music’s chamber choir and chamber orchestra, will take place in St. Peter’s Church, Bournemouth on Thursday 13th December at 6pm. This is a traditional service following the pattern famously used at King’s College, Cambridge and will feature some splendid choral music as well as all your favourite carols.
University Music’s annual performance of Handel’s Messiah takes place in St. Ambrose Church, Westbourne on Sunday 9th December at 4.30pm.
The University Music Choir and orchestra is made up of staff, alumni and students from both Arts University Bournemouth and Bournemouth University.
