35mm brings the skill, mystery, and anticipation of SLR photography to the iPhone. From film selection and exposure to manual/auto focus and flash options, you’re in control as you shoot a roll of 24 exposure B&W or colour film before ‘sending’ it away for 24hr processing. The screen goes blank as you take a picture, just like the mirror going up on an SLR. If 24hrs is too long to wait, an in-app purchase lets you process your pictures in under an hour.

The Emerging Female Arts Prize, is an exciting new art prize initiated by the arts and human rights charity, FiLiA. Kate Davis’ submission, her final BA (Hons) Commercial Photography degree project work, received the ‘Recommendation for Work’ runners-up prize.
The FiLiA supports the development of female artists working in the UK, with entries being assessed on the criteria of originality, aesthetics, technical ability and meaningfulness. The Emerging Female Art Prize aims to provide a platform for female artists to be publicly recognised.

The observers ia an audio novella written and produced by Richard Paul, and narrated by BBC presenter Charles Nove. It is underpinned by a selection of motifs based on Schubert’s Winterreise, played on the hurdy-gurdy by Clare Salaman, director of The Society of Strange and Ancient Instruments, with audio design by Jack Mair (BMG production music).
