Recently, second-year students from the BA (Hons) Make-up for Media and Performance course were visited by inspirational hair stylist, Michelle Garande.

Michelle has won a string of awards in the hair world, which include ‘Braid Stylist of the Year 2015’ and ‘Avant Garde Stylist of the Year 2014’ at the Black Beauty/ Sensationnel Hair Awards.

‘Oh What a Lovely War’: AUB Commemorates 100 Years Since World War I

AUB are proud to present Oh What a Lovely War: a final-year student collaboration of a modern theatre masterpiece.

Directed by BA (Hons) Acting Senior Lecturer, Ken Robertson, Oh What a Lovely War will be performed to mark 100 years since the end of the Great War, at the unique locale of our Elliott Road film studio. This dimly lit cavernous space couldn’t be a more fitting setting for this ambitious work.

Make-up for Media and Performance Course Attend IMATs 2018

In May 2018, the BA (Hons) Make-up for Media and Performance course attend the International Make-up Trade Show (IMATs) in London.

IMATs is the ‘world’s largest celebration of make-up artistry’. It’s held all over the world, from Canada to the United States. The European version of the event will be held in London, Olympia.
