AUB No.1 for Graduate Employment

AUB celebrates 98% graduate employment rate – a result which puts AUB joint top of any English University, according to results released in the DLHE (Destinations of Leavers from Higher Education) Survey last week.

AUB has the joint highest graduate employment rate of any English University, achieving the rate of 98% employability in the Survey, which reviews the destination of graduates six months after they have left the institution.

Students collaborate with Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra on West Side 360°

Arts University Bournemouth is pleased to sponsor Song and Dance, a live performance by Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra (BSO).

The performance features the music of Adams, Rachmaninov, Bernstein and Gershwin and took place on Wednesday 22 March at Lighthouse Poole.

Redesigning the Guides uniform – looking back on Founders Day

This Founders Day, we look back on the redesign that four BA (Hons) Fashion students led in 2014 to create a new Guides uniform.

Recognising AUB’s commitment to promoting body confidence and challenging beauty stereotypes, students from BA (Hons) Fashion were chosen by Girlguiding to lead the redesign, which is now worn by thousands of Guides across the UK.

Master of Architecture student, Ece Selimoglu, has designed and produced a wallpaper for local restaurant WestBeach.

Ece designed the wallpaper as part of the Architectural Research Methodologies unit.

Creating Christmas with the World’s Most Ethical Cosmetics Company

After studying for a foundation diploma at AUB, Emma Caswell graduated from BA (Hons) Illustration in 2015.

She now works as junior gifts designer for Lush, tasked with creating the packing for some of the world’s most ethical and innovative cosmetics.

Richard Allen through to the finals of Landscape Artist of the Year

Our visiting course tutor A. Richard Allen has made it through to the finals of the Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the Year.

We’re very proud to see Richard selected as one of the final three contestants of this nationally televised competition. If you would like to see how he does in the final competition, the show will air Tuesday 29 November, 8pm on Sky Arts.
