BA (Hons) Creative Events Management student.
“I am Dorset born and bred so I have a slightly biased opinion of the beautiful county! After spending most of my childhood growing up in various places, I was excited to find a University in my hometown offering the course I wanted to complete. I’m a country girl, so having no city in Dorset is perfect, if you don’t mind the hustle and bustle of a city; London is a short two-hour train journey away.
BA (Hons) Acting student.
“During my final year at college I was really unsure about whether to go to University or Drama School to train in Acting.
BA (Hons) Commercial Photography student.
“Living in Bournemouth was always a childhood dream of mine, I had come here to the beach with my family, and since then I fell in love with the atmosphere, with the friendly faces I saw and the fresh south sea air! So when it came to picking a university I had no trouble there, as I wanted every opportunity to come back and live here – and of course, the university is well known for its creative spark and amazing approach to education.
BA (Hons) Creative Events Management student. By studying abroad I have pushed boundaries that expanded my capabilities as an artist and individual.
After graduating high school in the US, I knew I wanted to travel. In the UK I’ll earn my degree in three years, rather than four, and be spending a lot less on tuition. Having never been to England, I took a chance and embarked on an adventure that continues to be an amazing experience.
BA (Hons) Illustration student. I have always loved the outdoors and steered clear of busy cities. So Bournemouth is perfect for me with its picturesque beaches and close proximity to vast areas of natural beauty such as the New Forest. I would say having such a large array of places to visit definitely benefits my work. Not only for inspiration, but for first hand research and observational drawing. I don't have a car and so enjoy cycling.
MArch – Master of Architecture student
“When I first moved to Bournemouth for my studies, I was really unsure of what to expect. Would I fit in, make new friends and adjust to living away from home for the first time?
