On the whole, I feel that I have improved a lot in realising ideas. In the first unit, I mainly concentrated on the visual beauty

I find it very interesting to experiment with brushes of different colours. I learned not to consider a lot in the practice process, for example, In Dances, I concentrated on the traces of the brush. I didn’t develop too much, which means that I stayed at the beginning of the stage, so I think that piece of work is a success.

In the second unit, I think it’s relatively easy to make a painting because I choose the computer as a tool, which will make it easier to control the colour and shape. In the beginning, I used simple lines to describe the characteristics of people.

Sometimes these people’s graphics are difficult to control to harmonious images, so I explored how to arrange different patterns to achieve a visual balance.

In Painter Dream, I am confident in the conversion of real photos to paintings. I use large colour blocks to describe the colour of the grass. I still maintain a harmonious image to achieve a visually stable effect.

What I feel most profoundly is the MP2 in the last unit. I feel like I am resuscitation. I mean, when I focus on translation, I think my work can talk. It looks more interesting because I didn’t consider visual factors.

Instead, I directly converted what I wanted to say into a two-dimensional animation; I think it is much stronger than the one I did before, at least it allows me to think about whether my thoughts are clearly expressed. In No Pain, No Gain, I use the yellow curve to communicate a lot of actions, which means that the more actions you take, the more gold you see.

So focusing on the conversion method can make the work more interesting, and perhaps make it easier to understand the essence of one thing.
