The Arts University Bournemouth (AUB) has once again confirmed its status as one of the top specialist HEIs in the UK, with its hard-working graduates coming in the top 5 of all UK universities for employability.

The Destination for Leavers in Higher Education Survey (DLHE) by the Higher Education Statistics Agency has shown that 97.7% the AUB’s Class of 2011 were in work or further study six months after graduating.

The results of the survey, which came out in July, place the AUB as the best specialist arts university for employability, out-ranking the larger, more established universities.

Professor Jim Hunter, Deputy Principal of the AUB commented “This result is a great testament to the quality of our courses and our teaching provision. We have a long history of working closely with industry and equip our students with the very best skills to enter the creative industries upon Graduation.”

the AUB has consistently scored high in the DHLE survey, with the Class of 2010 achieving a score of 97.5% alongside an excellent 2011 National Student Survey result where its students rated the overall satisfaction in the AUB at 82% which was 6% above average in the Creative Arts and Design sector.
