‘One Piece of Advice’ is an Alumni project for the next generation of creatives. Some of the brightest AUB Alumni, Honorary Fellows and community have offered up their ‘One Piece of Advice’ to those starting out in the creative industries.
On February 4th 2016, we launched issue 1 of our Alumni magazine ‘One Piece of Advice’. Featuring Bob and Roberta Smith, Jimmys Iced Coffee, Giles Duley, Karen Fuchs and Sir Peter Cook amongst many others.

Natasha Durley: After graduating from Arts University Bournemouth, Natasha was named a Best of Year winner in the 2012 D&AD Student Awards. Alongside her Illustration practice, Natasha is a visiting tutor at AUB, running workshops and evening classes.
Marianna Madriz: Marianna is a freelance illustrator, currently based in the UK, originally from Venezuela. Her work is inspired by comics, 50s illustrations, Latin American culture and Bossa Nova music
Robin Mackenzie: Robin is a contemporary illustrator and printmaker specialising in wood engravings and lino-cuts. He graduated from Arts University Bournemouth in 2013 and has since been creating prints for books, magazines and a wide variety of exhibitions and shows. Robin works from his studio at Walford Mill Crafts in Wimborne, Dorset using a traditional cast iron Albion Press to produce his prints.
