What is it?
It is a national survey that is a mandatory process for all HE providers and is coordinated by Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA).
This survey has replaced the previous Destinations of Leavers from Higher Education Survey (DLHE).
How does it all work?
Your information is given to HESA and you will be contacted to complete the survey online or on the phone.
You will be contacted 15 months after completing your course at AUB. i.e. If you graduated in June 2018 you will be contacted in Autumn 2019.
During the survey you will be asked a number of questions about the activities (work, further study, training, portfolio development, travelling etc.) you will be undertaking on a selected census week and how you feel your studies prepared you for those activities.
The survey only takes 5 minutes to complete.
Why should you take part?
Did you ever question where we got the 98% employability rate from, this is the survey.
It helps to:
- support prospective students with insight into their potential career destinations
- improve the university experience for students, ensuring your voice is heard
- display trends in the current graduate job market
- contribute to the University’s positioning in league tables
What happens to the data?
The results of the survey are added to the Unistats site and will form part of the information used by potential students to help them make choices about where to study.
How can you help?
All we need you to do is update your details, so that when we do hand the data over your contact details are correct.
You can update your details here.
