Tenders

Arts University Bournemouth uses an electronic tendering system MyTenders to advertise current and future tender opportunities.

This system allows suppliers to register, view contracts available for tender, submit expressions of interest as well as download tender documents and upload bids.

Suppliers who are not already registered with the site will need to register in order to access the tender documents. Registration is free. Please note that registration does not guarantee contract with AUB.

The University does not maintain a list of approved, preferred, nominated or recommended suppliers, but there are procedures for selecting suppliers in accordance with the University’s financial regulations.

Listed below are details of requirements for which the University is currently seeking tenders.

Tender for Minor Building Works to the University’s Workshop
Insert Tender Ref: AUB/AUBIT/17-04

AUB has won funding from the European Social Innovation Fund to work with Small Medium Enterprises (SME’s), Social Enterprises (SE’s) and Start-ups in the Dorset region.

The purpose of the funding is to give digital and creative businesses support in Research & Innovation – developing new products and services to grow their businesses.

As part of this programme AUB are developing their existing workshop to include equipment that would be of particular benefit to SME’s, SE’s and Start-Ups.

AUB’s current workshop is a mixed-use space that includes facilities for woodwork, metalwork, additive printing, textiles, resin casting and moulding and spray painting.

The University is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to carry out the construction work in refurbishing part of the University’s Workshop prior to the delivery of the new machinery which is to be housed within the Workshop.

The project involves minor refurbishment works including demolition, structural works, flooring, joinery, ceiling works, plumbing and electrical works.

Interested parties should log onto MyTenders to register interest in this project. The deadline for tender submission is Friday 24th November 2017.
