Bournemouth’s packed with character from coast to countryside. In a small number of miles, you cover areas so diverse, you wouldn’t believe that they’re still in Bournemouth.
Charminster and Winton
Charminster and Winton are popular places for our students and staff. Bustling with character, both have lots of places to eat and visit. And they’re just a stone’s throw from the campus.
Boscombe and Pokesdown
Boscombe’s mix of Victorian terrace houses, large parks and shopping districts prove popular with new homeowners. It’s also got its own train station.
The Kensington of Bournemouth, Westbourne, has a blend of class and charm. There are not many places that have a Tesco in an old church!
Right by the beach, Southbourne’s has lots of shops and plenty of things to do. It’s also right next to stunning Christchurch and Hengistbury Head.
Bournemouth and Poole are so close, it’s not clear where one ends and the other begins. Fortunately, the AUB campus sits right in between them.
Parkstone, Branksome and Broadstone are popular areas in Poole for people working in Bournemouth.
There are plenty of nearby towns in Dorset that you can call your home – all within commuting distance, such as:
- Wimborne Minster
- Corfe Mullen
