How to Apply

We’ve made applying for jobs easier than ever. You just need to register on our secure application system, which saves your details so you don’t have to enter them again.

Whether you’re applying for an academic or professional services role, we’ve made the process as easy as possible. You just need to click ‘apply online’ on the vacancy that you’re interested in.

I’'m applying for an academic role (higher education)

Start by taking a look at our current vacancies.

You’ll need to upload a covering letter and CV with your application. In your covering letter, you’ll explain how you meet the requirements of the person specification of the role. Covering letters are an important part of the shortlisting process, so take your time on yours and make sure it’s detailed enough to give us the best picture of your knowledge, skills, experience and qualifications possible.

After you’ve applied, we’ll email you to confirm we’ve received your application. Once we’ve completed the shortlisting for the job we’ll email you to let you know if you’ve been successful in reaching the interview stage.

INTERVIEW

Your interview is likely to comprise of a presentation, as well as an interview with separate staff and student panels.

You will need to bring to the interview:

  • Proof of nationality and right to work, i.e. valid passport, national ID card, relevant visa
  • Original certificates of relevant qualifications
  • A recent portfolio of your industry or teaching practice

After the interview, we’ll email you as soon as possible to let you know whether you’ve got the job.

If you’ve been successful, we’ll contact you by phone to discuss a potential start date.  Following that, we’ll send a contract in the post with an offer pack.

I’'m applying for an academic role (further education)
