Study Abroad overview
Study Abroad short courses are for students who want to spend time learning in the UK, but do not necessarily want to spend as much as 3 years studying. Each Study Abroad short course provides additional option for studying English language designed to improve your IELTS level.
This course is written for international students whose first language is not English. It is designed to help students improve their knowledge of spoken and written English and develop a portfolio. On successful completion students can join the Foundation Diploma in Art and Design.
This course is written for international students and is designed to help students improve their knowledge of spoken and written English before joining an undergraduate course. The course provides a good basic introduction to art, design and media and helps students prepare a portfolio that can be used for entry onto an undergraduate course.
This course is suitable for international students with language scores IELTS 5.5, or equivalent, who wish to develop their creative practice in a chosen discipline abroad. Students who also need to improve their English can include additional language teaching as part of their course. International students currently studying at degree level at their home institutions have the opportunity to study for either 1 term (10 weeks), 2 terms (20 weeks) or 3 terms (30 weeks) with BA (Hons) degree students.
The Pre-Masters Courses are designed for students who need to develop further in order to take advantage of the opportunities provided by Masters level study in the creative arts.
Bespoke Courses are run by passionate leaders, are highly practical, and are designed to give specific groups the specialist skills they need in a competitive creative world. Courses are tailored to individual and group learning needs and can combine one or more disciplines.

What experience will you need?
You may have limited previous experience and wish to join a Pre-Foundation level course or you may have a degree already and wish to practice your skills in the UK with advanced students. Your abilities and qualifications will be assessed before you are offered a place, and we will discuss the most suitable programme of learning with you.
